IMPORTANT NOTICE
When they (the family) became stronger, they then took over and operated this site up to the time of securing his case's referral to the CCRC, which followed on from the case being featured in BBC's Rough Justice programme. Obviously, in the three plus years since then it has not really been actively operational as from that point on there was very little more which could actively be done or achieved, and we did not wish to jeopardise Simon's case. Also, in that time other developments have occurred, with Simon surprising us all with his eventual marriage to Stephanie Tilley. Understandably she wanted to play a larger part, but preferred to make alternative arrangements rather than become involved with Simon's family website, and he was in agreement with this, and so we have arrived at this 'Blog', for which the link is as follows:
http://caseblog.wronglyaccusedperson.org.uk/justice4simon/
Therefore please continue to lend your support, but please ensure any future contact regarding the campaign is direct to the link above. For that, and all your tremendous support from the very early stages of the campaign Simon's family will be forever grateful! As you know Simon's case has now been successfully referred back to the Court of Appeal following new forensic developments around the fibre 'evidence' (The only reason for his conviction) and dramatic new 'hidden' evidence which has come to light since his trial.
The latest news is that there will be a provisional hearing in the Royal Courts of Justice in March, at which we expect to see the beginning of the end of the struggle in sight, and Simon's eventual release - which we all hope is very soon.
Thank you,
Phil, Lynne, Shaun and not least of all, Simon.
